Chasing down the root cause requires not only curiosity, patience, and a healthy dose of tenacity but a willingness to try different tools and approaches. This post describes our challenges and ultimate success in tracking down a Linux kernel bug using Fallout.&lt;/em&gt;{#ee66}&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Bugs come in all shapes and sizes and it&amp;rsquo;s not always clear at the beginning of a debugging session which one you&amp;rsquo;re currently chasing. Some bugs can be fixed up in a matter of minutes while others take weeks to nail down.
